What did malthus and ricardo say about the effects of population growth?

    Their ideas lead to the creation of laissez-fair capitalism. Ricardo considered that permenent under-class would always live poor. Malthus also believed that wars and epidemics were fundamental to keep the population prosperous and content. They all believed that natural laws led economic life.
