    Abdul Ghaffar Khan is generally known as a key figure in the Freedom movement of the Sub-Continent

    Abdul Ghaffar Khan was a Muslim Indian Freedom Fighter who fought against the British Empire for Independence.

    He was a supporter of Gandhi and the Congress party and did not believe in the creation of Pakistan.

    In India, he is still remembered as a Hero, though he lived the rest of his life in Peshawar, Pakistan.

    In the larger History of the 20th century, he is remembered as a staunch nationalist who believed in secularism.
