Why did southerners support the Kansas-Nebraska act

    The reason why the southerners supported the act was because the two states could vote to be free or slave states, so people from the north and the south rushed there to get those states to be free or slave, this is also known as bleeding Kansas.

    So the answer is most likely C, just because this one makes the most sense
