    You mean that every dimension is increased by 1/3, what is the change in volume?

    Original tube

    V = pi * r^2 * h

    New Tube

    V = pi * [ (1 + 1/3) r]^2 * (1 + 1/3) * h

    V = pi * (4/3) ^2 r^2 * (4/3) * h

    V = pi * (4/3) ^3 r^*h

    The new Tube has increased in volume by a factor of (4/3) ^3 = 64/27 or approximately 2.03 times
