    Jackson was against a Federal bank and was for the questioning of such a bank before the Supreme court. He wanted it proved that the bank should not exist. Andrew Jackson nominated Roger B. Taney, as Supreme Court Justice who opposed the establishment of the second Bank of the United States. Jackson did not like the National Bank because he thought it served mainly to make the northeastern business richer.
