    In the Gileded age, Congress and the northern states to build more Railroads and increased demand for a variety of Manufactured Goods. This connection has a linked from Civil War.

    Moreover, in this period the first railroad also came which connected the Atlantic and Pacific lines. Due to its expensive issue, the federal government gave subsidies to the manufacturing units to transfer their goods to the other places. Congress also provided federal land grants to railroad companies so that they could lay down more track.
