It was the vikings who began to invade northern Europe in 835 BC. One of the vikings who was known as the scourge of France and England was Ragnar Lodbrok, who is a norse viking ruler. The reasons of such acts are to pillage wealth, gain popularity and achievements, lands and many more. They were also known of their ferocity in fighting and feared by the people they were invaded.
