Queen Jadwiga of Poland took on the title of king, university founder, and military leader.
She lead 2 military campaigns to regain Polish territory (now Ukraine). She founded Kraków Academy (named Jagiellonian University in her honour). Supposedly, she resurrected a child who drowned in the Wisla River.
