The correct answer to this open question is the following.
Constantine (280-337) ruled the Roman Empire in 312. He began his ruling in Western Rome and, in 324 he controlled, all the Roman territory, East and West. Historians say that one night, he had a dream. Archangel Gabriel told Constantine that if he converted to Christianity, he would win all his battles. That is how Constantine protected Christians with the Edict of Milan in 313, after years of persecution. He was smart enough to extend an invitation to Christian priests to the Council of Nicea in 325. Constantine moved his location to Constantinopla for considered it a strategic place to establish the center of the Roman Empire.
