    The Factory system is the type of system that involves the use of machines in the production and manufacturing of goods and services. During this period, the old domestic system (putting-out system) was replaced with a more advance method of production. It was a period that started during the Industrial Revolution era that replaces the use of manual labor in manufacturing.

    Also, the factory system started in Great Britain when the industrial revolution first started and later it spread across other nations of the world.

    However, it must be noted that the factory system has some great social effects on society. Some of these are highlighted below:

    The factory system enables a change from doing work and production in the house to the factory during the cottage industries era. The harsh and unsafe hazards in the previous means of production maximized. Work hours were reduced in the era of the factory system. There was a massive increase in wealth by the owners. Increase in the number of goods being produced. This period bought about a high level of increase in education. Health care increase during this period as a result of vaccines invented.

    Moreover, some bad effects of this period include the use of child labor, hazards from machines, loss of jobs.
