The Berlin Blockade was one of the major conflicts in the Cold War and it could have easily started a military conflict. That is why the Berlin airlift was organized. By the air, the Western Allies supplied their part of the Berlin and deliver the cargo of food, medicine, fuel, and different necessities to their people of West Berlin.
