What factors enable the Spanish to conquer the Aztec empire?

    The Aztecs ruled a large number of people. These people understandably didn't care as much for being ruled by a different government. The Spanish exploited that advantage and built alliances with many indigenous people who saw them as the best chance to take down the aztec empire
