Mongol Empire was enormous and expanded from Eastern Europe to the Sea of Japan, it reached portions of Siberia in the North and the Indian Subcontinent along with the Mainland Southeast Asia in the South. To sustain law and order on such a vast empire, he developed three principles: Obedience towards the Great Khan, Maintaining the unity of the nomadic clans, and ruthless punishment of wrong-doing. He also made several laws that also supported women and children. Before his passing, Genghis Khan distributed the vast empire into various sub-territories pronounced as the Khanates which were led by his sons and grandsons.
