    One of the things that the communist governments did was that they were controlling the peoples jobs, how much they will work, where they will work, and in which manner they will work, usually without any option for progress in a career level. Also, the government was controlling the access of the people to the products, as its politics was that everyone should have certain amount of certain things and that's it, nothing more is needed, and nothing more will be allowed to be taken.
