Political and economic nationalism are related. Latin America's economic interests for the people requires national movements to get political power from colonial rule.

Social unrest can be rooted to economic conditions that do not support people's welfare. It gives favorable profits to the colonizer. It means that there is a need for economic nationalism to give to the people the rights they deserve. To make it happen, the people must create a national action to grabbed the political power of the current government.

The economic national conditions turned to political aspirations to address Latin America's needs.
