How would you describe the axis's situation in europe in 1942

    the battle of el alemein and victory of north africa was decisive. Gaining control was a huge morale boost for the allies, giving them something to cheer about. It meant the oil supplies were under the control of the allies and not the axis, whenn the axis was running out of these supplies. The Axis required NA to meet up with the other army group in Italy, it could now not do this, weakening position and altaring the outcome of the war
