    The Belgian Congo gained independence on June 30, 1960, under the name of the Republic of Congo. Conflict over the management of territories known as the Congo crisis. Nationality happened in 1958 when more elites began to interact with others outside their boundaries and began discussing the Congolese state's future post-colonial planning. However, most political mobilization took place along ethnic and regional divisions. Hostile to immigrants, he advocated provincial autonomy and close relations with Belgium. Much of its support is rooted in individual leaders, entrepreneurs, and European settlers in southern Katanga. It was opposed by the Jason Sendwe Association, Générale des Baluba du Katanga.
