Why did the Europeans want African slaves who were farmers?

    Answer: The slaves who could farm would already know how to take acre of the crops.

    Explanation: Farming, particularly when done in a new territory and with new crops, can be challenging. It requires a lot of skill and knowledge. As most slaves were intended to work in the fields for agricultural purposes, previous knowledge of farming was an asset. Therefore, Europeans tended to want African slaves who were already farmers.

    Enslaved Africans. Africans are not slaves. In the 1400, there were africans who were enslaved that europeans bought. There's a difference.
