What are the steps to writing a good summary?

First you have to skim the text you are going to summarize and divide it into sections. Then read the selection twice. Write down the main idea of each section in one well-developed sentence and write a thesis statement. Make sure that you have correctly cited anything directly quoted from the text. Finally, revise your summary.

First state what you found intresting then state a few facts then last but not least add a little humor
