The correct answer is A) an attack by soldiers on peaceful colonists.

Paul Revere and Samuel Adams were successful in portraying violence in Boston as: "an attack by soldiers on peaceful colonists."

We are referring to the Boston Massacre of March 5, 1770, in Boston, Massachusetts. What began as a street fight on King Street, ended as one of the most horrible massacres in that time. British soldiers killed many colonists and this incident was one of the causes that led to the Revolutionary War, as well as the many taxes colonists had to pay such as the Sugar Act, the Stamp Act, the Tea Act or the Townshend Acts.
