How did Aksumâs location and interaction with other regions affect its development?

    Answer: Aksum was located near the Red Sea so it became a very successful trading port and controlled that are of trade. After conquering the Arabian Peninsula, Aksum had complete control over all the trade leading to Europe and Asia from that route. The trading made it a very strong empire as well as being extremely diverse. When traders came in the kingdom, they spread their ideas and religions. Many traditions were also taken and used. The kingdom therefore grew with the new ideas being used and the many people coming in. Also the trade and ports brought a lot of money back to Aksum.
