    1) They had not materially assisted to ward off the chronic enemy, starvation, from the mass of the people.

    2) Jules ferry is pro imperialism and he believes France customs and beliefs should be spread around the world.

    3) That Britain resembles an octopus in that it's taking over many countries but fails to capture Egypt

    4) Source B believe that England is a blessing to the world while source D believes that England is taking over too much having too much power.
