Does Truman present American policy as offensive or defensive? What words or phrases does Truman use to present policy this way?

    The foreign policies that Truman implemented after the second world war mainly focuses on providing economic aid to democratic countries that are continuously in a threat against the communists. Therefore, his policies are mostly defensive in nature in order to prevent the spread of communist influence.
