A. Most likely the answer. Culture from all the republics involved in the the Silk Road spread.

B. It is hard to know for certain who were the first Europeans in China.

C. While disease did become rampant in the Roman Empire due to trade. The fall of the empire had the most to do with it's own internal struggles for power and Germanic invaders.
