    Martin Luther King, Jr. was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's (A.) nonviolent protest in his struggle against the British. Mahatma Gandhi peacefully protested to bring the British empire to an end and it worked. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an African-American activist for the African Civil Rights Movements. They were both very influential leaders and fought for what they believed in.
