    The lived in urban areas, all members of the family could find work and they worked directly for money rather than produce food and goods for themselves.

    Explanation:

    Urbanization was a side effect of the Industrial Revolution. More people moved here to be close to the factories and good transport links. As many people did not have private transport they often stay as close as possible to their workplace.

    Children, women and men could find work in different manufacturing industries. Machines required different skills and level of strength.

    Food, clothes and toiletries were bought in stores, rather than made at home or produced.
