The Language of Romanticism presents greater formal freedom from the rationality, balance, and objectivity of the earlier movement: Arcadism.

Thus, the language of romanticism - simpler, popular, subjective, melodious, confessional, idealized, eloquent and full of lyricism and dualism -, presents a break with the classical models (Greco-Roman culture), providing an approximation with the new public. consumer by revealing his own yearnings: the bourgeoisie.

The most recurring themes are unrequited love (Platonic love), nature, religion, the idealization of women, death, uncertainty, individualism, loneliness, the dramas of existence and suffering in general.

The word comes from the Latin romanĭce, that is, "to the Roman form."

    Explanation:

Romance languages are the descending languages of Latin, among them we find Spanish, French, Galician, Romanian, Portuguese, Italian and Provencal. Romanesque or Romance languages are derived from Vulgar Latin, which in turn belongs to a branch of italic languages and this, to the family of Indo-European languages
