The Empire of Japan waged an all-out war on the Korean culture. Schools and universities as in college refused to allow speaking the Korean language and emphasized manual labor and loyalty to the Emperor. Public places adopted Japanese, too, and ordered to make films in the Japanese language soon as followed.
