Why was john brown so determined to free slaves? A. he had suffered a tortured as a slave before he escaped to freedom. B. he read uncle tom's cabin and became an abolitionist. C he believed that slavery was an acceptable practice. D. he believed god had commanded him to free all slaves by force.
