The modern world began with the scientific revolution when scholars began to experiment and observe very carefully. They recorded their observations and used math to figure out what the results might mean. Their conclusions led to new questions and experiments and they began to understand much more about the workings of nature. The scientific revolution began around the year 1600. No one called it the scientific revolution when it was happening. People just knew they were figuring out new things. Scientist were finding out how nature workdays including how the planets moved and how the human body was constructed. Science, the organized study of how nature works was born. And that was the start of the modern world.

    In the context of humans, the modern world, describes the time when people started using reasoning and experiments to study nature. This was the time when scientific revolution began. The modern world believes in scientific facts and reasoning. In the past, people just believed if something bad happened, it was due to the punishment they were receiving from God. Instead of looking for solution or understanding nature, they just cursed themselves and prayed for miracles.
