Do americans tend to have a lot of faith in government ap gov

I believe that Americans don't trust the government as much as they used to do after many scandals, like the Watergate. Even though Americans don't love the American system, I still think most people appreciate the self-government system.

Yes Americans do because we are led by the belief that our government is perfect.
