    It is a compound complex sentence where there are two phrases used together and there is one dependant. For example, because my pizza was too cold i heated it in the microwave. There the sentence given here is an example of compound complex sentence.

    More such examples are, i waited for too long but then i decided to go alone. In compound complex sentences there is a dependant on which the sentence is based. The two phrases are linked together with that dependant.
