about what being an American means to us personally?

If someone came to the United States as an immigrant they might view America differently then someone who was born here. A lot of people think about the "American Dream" but does anyone truly know the American dream? A lot of the time its to have a good job with a healthy family and be able to support them. So you could say something like, America is a place for opportunities. In America I am able to be who I want to be no matter what gender I am, what religion I follow, and any other opinion I have. In America I have access to a education. You could just answer the question based on how you are able to live in America and the opportunities given to you.
