Loyalists are British subjects that should obey the British law. Taxes are due to pay for the French and Indian War which was fought to protect the colonies. However, American colonies would be weak without Britain colonies profit from trading with England. They are just too far away from England to representation in parliament which is England's government.

    Patriots

The government can take away property but how you ask? Taxes, take away property but it can also be money or goods instead. Since they have no voice England shouldn't tax colonies without representation. There's no way colonies could even try to represented in parliament because they would take it away. Many colonist fought in the french war "We done our part!" Most of them said. British personnel are causing violence and death.
