The most likely reason is the Bantu sought land for agriculture (A). The Bantu originated from West Africa and from 1000BC - 500AD a long term migration occurred into south and eastern Africa. The primary reason for the expansion is believed to be to exploit new ecological areas after development of agriculture and ceramics.
