    A monarchy is a political system where the head of the state is decided by heredity and there are no elections for it. They make all the laws and decisions of the people. A democracy is in which the power of the governing is formed by the people and is for the people. The people choose their representative and elect them for governance. A democracy is based on freedom and equality.

    The people has some rights in a democracy whereas with the ruling of a king the people have no rights.
