Truman did not make the right decision when he authorized the use of atomic weapons on Japan.

    Explanation:

The authorisation of the use of atomic weapons on Japan resulted in the most dreadful war event in the history of the entire world.

It killed over 2,00,000 Japanese civilians and left the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the surrounding areas prey to the radiations for years after the bombings.

Many believed and tried convincing President Truman that there are other ways to persuade the Emperor of Japan to end the war. Truman paid attention to no one and chose to bomb Japan.
