    John Locke was known as the father of liberalism. His creation of philosophical tradition has given rise to a new dimension in politics. Liberalism is also known as the concept that pertains to a person's liberty. According to liberalism, the freedom of an individual is of utmost importance and is considered about all other ideas, also, the central problem. According to liberalism, an individual's rights have to be protected and also enhanced at the same time. Also, the right of an individual is not only the responsibility of the society itself, but also of the government. Liberalism was important to end the rule of monarchy and the crown of heedity. Absolute monarchy and the right of kings as divine was not accepted by the idea of liberalism and by the liberals.

    Liberalism could be applied to the real world as it led to the Age of Enlightenment as well as the new ideals. The Age of Enlightenment led to a widespread action through out America on the new set of ideals and was seen prominently in the 13 colonies of America. This Enlightenment was followed by the American revolution, that led to the end of absolute monarchy. Also, the awakening that everything consists of reason and this reason can be extended to science, religion, as well as politics, led to restoration of the long lost art and music as well as an increased sense of religious tolerance with a better culture in the colleges.
