The Supreme Court has the power of judicial review, as developed in the case Marbury v. Madison.

Judicial Review means that if someone objects to an action of Congress, they can file a suit and that suit can work its way through the Federal Court system with the Judiciary making a determination if Congress has acted within its Constitutional purview.
