How did Private John G. Burnett feel about the removal of the Cherokee tribe?

    When they were rounded up, many children barefoot and without blankets marched 1000 miles on the Trail of Tears because many cried during their moving to concentration camps. John. G. Burnett felt horrible and hoped that future generations would see this as horrible and that they would forgive him and soldiers alike since they were following orders.
