Muslim traders ventured in the area of Ghana in west Africa. Why did they come so far and how do we know of their travels? (Site 1)

    Why did they come so far and how do we know of their travels?

    Based on research and understanding, the reason to why these traders went so far in this kind of area was mainly because they wanted to be an a area that they would feel more like home. They didn't want to feel in a place that they would feel most comfortable and just not feel as great. And we can see where they have been as the length of their walking by there tenting as an example, if they were to travel, and then to place their tent's in a certain spot, we would then be able to locate them a known where they've been and how far they've been.
