Colonisation of countries around the world. Africa, to Australia, India and many more countries of the world felt the imperial colonial power of Britain in the 1700s. Mineral and resources found in colonies brought back home to Britain made Britain very rich and prosperous. The act of colonisation often involved invading the place and war and invasion which lead to deaths and afterwards surrender to the rule of the British empire while the defeated becomes a colony.
