The answer is C because an industrial revolution is the term to describe a time period in which machines start making human labor more efficient or limiting the amount of human labor needed for a job. For example, the first industrial revolution created the cotton gin, which allowed for cotton to be sorted and made into fabric much quicker. The second industrial revolution produced the Bessemer process, which greatly increased steel production and made the USA the top steel producer of the time.
