Francis Bacon created a new way of scientific thinking called inductive reasoning. How was this different from the deductive reasoning of earlier eras?

    Deductive reasoning would be getting a specific conclusion from a generalized statement or premise. Inductive reasoning, on the other hand, is the opposite. You would have to go form specific observations or statements and from there, make a generalization. From that, the accuracy of inductive reasoning is usually doubtful.
