How did greece's geography discourage unity among the people

    The different physical divisions in greece caused land division for which struggle occoured among them and thus discouraged unity among the people.

    The rugged mountains, hills, and many other rough terrain caused them to be more divided in land, which caused people to be in small discrete population centers with many different cultures/religions.
