Feudalism is a term that was presented in Europe in the Middle Ages, and it refers to a system that was created in order to give structure to society in terms of political, financial and social organization. This system was based on the exchange of services and in some cases, land, between the king and the local lords for having the vassals to farm those lands in order to receive protection in return from the king. This type of system finished in the 1400s, but it is still relevant to know it because of the features that it represented.
