The first 100 days of Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency began on March 4, 1933, the day Roosevelt was inaugurated as the 32nd President of the United States ... Roosevelt coined the term " first 100 days " during a July 24, 1933, radio. Fifteen major laws were enacted during this period.
