How did the Spanish make up for the decrease in the labor force as Native Americans decreased in number?

    They started getting slaves as workers in the new world. They forcefully relocated and enslaved people from Africa which was very similar to what was done by the British in the northern part of the continent. They just had a different organization or business and ownership but the concept was the same at its core.
