What advantages would gunpowder weaponry give to the who used it over those who did not in the early modern era? why did the europeans adopt it more readily than most other peoples, and why were they so intent on improving it?

    There are a lot of advantages the gunpowder weaponry would give to those who use it like weapon superiority and technological advantage. Also it can a morale booster for the army and a psychological weapon to lower the morale of the enemy facing such weapons. The Europeans adopt it immediately because they have foresee the importance and significance of such weapons and the constant warfare between nations and kingdoms in Europe sought weapons that could give them an advantage and edge in winning their battles.
