    The correct answers are "A", "B" and "D". There was an entire pantheon, similar to what was seen in places like Greece or Egypt. They would build ziggurats as temples where they would conduct rituals and sacrifices to appease the gods, and they believed gods were unpredictable and their ways our unknown. That's why they didn't believe that gods want them to be happy, but rather that gods know what needs to be know and that's it.
